Search For Hope...

So, my first post 'proper'!

This is the culmination of over a years work on various elements of a related project.

The Scottish branch have, for the last few years done a single subject on a specific sunday across scotland,'Scottish Same sunday Same Subject' or 'Sx5' as it's known up here...

So, last year we developed a leaflet from an idea i'd had using road signs... this has developed over the year to become an expanded booklet and now a mini-exhibition using Dimensions D4.6 systems and fabric banner that we get printed by Hi-fli in Kirriemuir.

We used it for the first time a few weeks ago in Dundee at our personal invitation event. Pix attached.

The booklet will be printed up in due course but currently forms the centre 8 pages of the latest Glad Tidings magazine (June 2009)

I'll post booklet and leaflet images soon.

If your ecclesia would like to borrow the SFH exhibition please contact a Scottish ALS branch member. The D4s fold down into 'duffel' type bags that are approx the size of the stands base.
We can easily get this entire exhibition into the boot of a regular sized car. No Volvo or Mini-van required :)

  1. Like the look of these panels & the overall idea.
I do think it could be improved though!

There is too often the problem of an leaflet reading more like the lecture that it should be the invitation to!

In your case I see the need to add in some headings which could continue the sign theme, but draw the eye down the displays so that one doesn't feel you have to read the lot from the top down.
The most prominent words as you cast your eye down the later displays are things like "1 Corinthians 15:25-26", when you should be drawn to something like "Elixir of life".

    I will always emphasise:
    1. understanding what the item is supposed to do, and then focus on achieving that aim.
    2. Making it easy for the eye to scan a page/display for meaning, so that it feels comfortable in settling to the task of reading in greater detail.
